Another Playstation exclusive will be released on PC only six months after release

Team Ninja has officially confirmed that Rise of the Ronin, an open-world action RPG, will be coming to PC on March 10th. The game was released exclusively on PlayStation 5 in April 2024, and is now getting an enhanced version for PC with a number of technical improvements.

Rise of the Ronin sees players take on the role of a ronin, a masterless warrior caught in the political and social turmoil of the Bakumatsu era. Players will be able to interact with different factions, make key decisions and influence the course of the story.

In addition to the developed role-playing system, the game focuses on combat mechanics, Team Ninja is known for its dynamic and technical battles, and this project was no exception.

At the time of release, critics received the game with restraint, giving it a 76 score on Metacritic.

It was in the PC version that many technical improvements were also introduced:

  • Compatibility with DirectX 12 Ultimate
  • Playable on ultrawide and superwide monitors
  • Support for 120 FPS
  • Ray tracing
  • Improved 3D audio
  • Full keyboard and mouse control customization
  • AMD Fidelity FX Super Resolution, Nvidia DLSS, Reflex and Intel XeSS technologies
  • Improved interface with control support mouse
