The prosecutor's office has sent to the court an indictment against five members of an organized group for producing and distributing pornographic content.
The Mykolaiv Regional Prosecutor's Office has sent to the court an indictment against five members of an organized group, who are accused of producing and distributing pornographic video products (Part 3 of Article 28, Part 3 of Article 301 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, in early 2024, a 27-year-old resident of Zhytomyr, intending to produce and distribute pornographic materials, created an organized criminal group. It included four female acquaintances aged 22 to 25 from Mykolaiv and Odessa.
The perpetrators rented premises in different districts of Mykolaiv, which they equipped with computer equipment and furniture. Using websites on the Internet, they systematically produced and distributed pornographic content online.
For such actions, the defendants face up to seven years in prison with a ban on holding certain positions or engaging in certain activities for a period of up to three years.
The pre-trial investigation was carried out by the investigative department of the Main Police Department in Mykolaiv region, operational support – the department of the migration police of the Main Police Department in Mykolaiv region.
Note: in accordance with Art. 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until his guilt is proven in accordance with the law and established by a court verdict of guilty.
