The man passed intelligence to Russian representatives via messenger in the form of text messages and marks on electronic maps
Russian spy who guided Russian missiles at Kharkiv gets 10 years. This was reported by the spokesman for the regional SBU department Vladislav Abdula.
The convict is a 56-year-old citizen of the Russian Federation, who used his job in one of the banks in Kharkiv to cover up his espionage activities and ensure the legality of his stay in Ukraine.
He collected secret information about the storage locations of technical documentation in Kharkiv. Such information was needed by the Russians to launch missile and bomb strikes on the storage locations of secret documentation in Kharkiv and destroy or damage it. Destruction of documentation could prevent the restoration of industrial and infrastructure facilities that were damaged as a result of Russian aggression.
The man also collected information about the locations of Ukrainian military and military equipment.
The man transmitted intelligence to representatives of the Russian Federation via messenger in the form of text messages and marks on electronic maps.
SBU officers detained the spy in his own apartment in July 2024. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
