Russian banker agent and propagandist from Kharkiv received real prison terms

Two henchmen of the Russian Federation from Kharkiv received real prison terms. A Russian spy – a 56-year-old Russian citizen who worked in a bank and combined official work with performing tasks for Russian military intelligence – will spend a lot of time behind bars. He will be accompanied by a 42-year-old Kharkiv woman who wrote texts for the Russian “military officer”'s public speeches.

The banker will serve 10 years – apparently, the court reduced his sentence to 10 years with confiscation of property. According to the investigation materials of the Security Service of Ukraine, he prepared coordinates for Russian missile and bomb strikes on the storage locations of technical documentation necessary for the restoration of industrial facilities in the region.

To do this, the banker «secretly» tried to use his acquaintance – a local official who has access to secret information.

Also, the man drove around the city in his own car and recorded on a hidden video recorder the locations of the defenders of Kharkiv.

The SBU counterintelligence exposed the Russian spy and detained him in 2024.

Another figure will serve 11 years for preparing theses for the public speeches of the Russian «military».

«In her materials, the woman justified the air strikes of the racists on Kharkiv and tried to discredit the Defense Forces, allegedly on behalf of ordinary residents of the city. Later, the Kremlin propagandist “dispersed” the received fakes on the airwaves of the Kremlin mouthpieces – Skabeeva or Solovyov's talk show. Also, the Russian “military corps” published articles by the henchman on his YouTube channel with a reach of 231 thousand users, – said the SBU press service in a statement.

In addition to writing texts, the woman collected for the “military corps” geolocations of Ukrainian checkpoints, the location of anti-aircraft missile systems and the consequences of enemy strikes. This information was shared by the racist propagandist with Russian military intelligence.
