A resident of Zhytomyr reported on Telegram about the places where servicemen of the CCC and SP issued summonses. The man was fined.
This is stated in the verdict, which the Korolyov District Court of Zhytomyr adopted on Tuesday, January 21.
Case details
According to court materials, from May 31 to October 12, 2024, the defendant constantly published information on the Telegram channel regarding the places where summonses were issued. Thus, he obstructed the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Interfered with the lawful activities of the relevant CCC and SP and created obstacles, barriers in the activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations, which led to socially dangerous consequences in the form of failure to fully implement mobilization measures within the specified time limits,” — is stated in the verdict.
Court decision
In November 2024, the accused entered into a plea agreement with the prosecutor. The court recognized as mitigating circumstances the fact that the defendant had not been previously tried, that he was not registered with a narcologist or psychiatrist, that he had a positive record at his place of residence, and that he promised not to commit any more violations. The man was sentenced to pay a fine of 170,000 hryvnias.
Within 30 days from the date of the verdict, the court decision can be appealed.
