What computer will "pull" the game Doom: The Dark Ages: system requirements revealed

The developers have named the minimum and maximum system requirements for the PC.

The developers have revealed what the PC requirements will be to run the new Doom: The Dark Ages, writes Insider Gaming.

As expected, players will need a terribly powerful computer to play with maximum Ultra graphics settings at 4K resolution. You will also need a fairly powerful machine to run the game on minimum settings.

Minimum PC specs:

  • OS: 64-bit Windows 10
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-10700K @ 3.2 GHz or better | AMD Ryzen 7 3700X @ 3.2 GHz or better
  • Video card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER 8 GB or better | AMD Radeon RX 6600 8 GB or better
  • RAM: 16 GB RAM
  • Disk Space: 120 GB on a 512 GB SSD or more
  • Resolution: 1080p
  • Frame Rate: 60
  • Video Settings: Preset: Low

Recommended PC specs:

  • OS: 64-bit Windows 10
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-12700K @ 3.2 GHz or better | AMD Ryzen 7 5700X @ 3.2 GHz or better
  • Video card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 8 GB or better | AMD Radeon RX 6680 8GB or better
  • RAM: 32GB RAM
  • Disk Space: 120GB on 512GB SSD or more
  • Resolution: 1440p
  • Frame Rate: 60
  • Video Settings Preset: High

Specifications for Ultra 4K:

  • OS: 64-bit Windows 10
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-12700K @ 3.2 GHz or better | AMD Ryzen 7 5700X @ 3.2 GHz or better
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 16 GB or better | AMD Radeon RX 7900XT 16GB or better
  • RAM: 32GB RAM
  • Disk space: 120GB on a 512GB SSD or larger
  • Resolution: 2160p
  • Frame rate: 60
  • Preset video settings: Ultra

It is already known that DOOM: The Dark Ages will be released on May 15, 2024. The game will be available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC upon launch. It will also be available on day one on Xbox Game Pass.

A new trailer for the upcoming game has also been released.
