US hands over 28 new Abrams tanks to Poland

The US has handed over the first 28 M1A2SEPv3 “Abrams” tanks to Poland, which will undergo major repairs. In total, the Polish army will receive 250 such tanks.

Poland has received the first 28 M1A2SEPv3 “Abrams” tanks, which after being transported by sea will undergo major repairs and will be put into service with the Polish army. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense of Poland Wladyslaw Kosyaniak-Kamysz in  social networks X.

The first tanks of the M1A2SEPv3 version are already here. 28 “Abrams”, after being transported by sea, will undergo major repairs, and then go to serve in the Polish countryside. Ultimately, we will have 250 such “Abrams”
