Who may lose their jobs due to AI

Many companies say they will invest in retraining their employees so that they can work effectively with new technologies.

According to a survey by the World Economic Forum (WEF), 77% of companies plan to retrain their employees to work with AI in the next five years. However, this year, the WEF notes that the impact of AI on the labor market will not only be positive. The demand for AI specialists is also growing:

70% of companies are looking for AI developers;
62% of companies are looking for specialists who work with these technologies.

The forecasts show that the largest reductions will affect postal workers, secretaries and payroll specialists, as well as graphic designers and lawyers. This is due not only to the development of AI, but also to other trends in the labor market. At the same time, experts note that the main result of the impact of AI will be the improvement of human skills, rather than their complete replacement.
