This munition had been in the studio since 2019. The presenter's life is not in danger, she is in the hospital, the radio station's representatives noted.

Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the explosion in the studio, the press service of the Kyiv police reported. They noted that information about the explosion was received today, January 19, by the Pechersk police department. An investigative and operational group and explosives technicians were sent to the scene.

“It has been previously established that an army detonator, which was in the room as an exhibit, exploded. A woman, born in 1999, was injured in the explosion and hospitalized”, — the message says.

Law enforcement officers have initiated criminal proceedings under Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives.
