5 innovations of the Android 15 operating system that could improve iOS

Android and iOS have always been spying on each other, adding features to improve their systems, and with the release of Android 15, Google has once again impressed with some cool new features that I would be happy to see on the iPhone.

What you should know

For example, anti-theft protection in Android 15 is really cool. Here, the device can use artificial intelligence and sensor data to recognize suspicious movements, which often occur during thefts. If the system detects something like this, the phone will automatically lock, and you can also find it through the «Find Device» function. iOS has some protection, but it is not yet as proactive as Android. It would be great if Apple took this into account.

Another feature I would like on the iPhone is the ability to record only a portion of the screen. Android 15 lets you choose which app to record, rather than the entire screen. This is very handy when you need to show how to solve a problem without capturing random messages or other personal data. iOS doesn't have this, and recording something without unnecessary notifications is not so easy.

And there's «Personal Space», where you can store sensitive information in a completely isolated part of the device. This is not just a disguised folder or hidden apps, but a real separate environment where everything is separated from the main system. iOS has note and photo locking, but it doesn't give the same level of control as «Personal Space» in Android.

It is also worth noting the updated volume control panel. Now in Android 15 you can adjust the volume of media, calls, notifications and alarms from one place. In iOS, you have to look for all this in the settings, and it's not really very convenient.

And, of course, the Search Circle. In Android 15, you can circle an object on the screen, and the system will immediately show what it is, without having to leave the application. This is super convenient if you want to learn more about something you saw, for example, on Instagram or TikTok. iOS doesn't have this, and I really miss it.

In general, Android 15 doesn't impress with any major updates, but these features really make using the phone more convenient and safer. And while iOS already has a lot of cool features, these new features would definitely make the iPhone even cooler.
