When will the new Halo game be released: insiders have named the expected dates

One of the game industry insiders believes that Halo fans don't have long to wait.

The American company Halo Studios may be preparing to announce the start of work on a new Halo game already this year, writes Insider Gaming.

One of the gaming industry insiders, Rebs Gaming, recently announced an upcoming Halo game. On his page in X it was said that the studio is engaged in testing future games of the franchise “every week”.

“Since they're this far into development, I expect at least one new Halo announcement this year,” — an insider wrote.

Details of a yet-to-be-announced new Halo game surfaced in a YouTube video where Rebs Gaming discussed Halo Studios' new game-testing lab.

The new initiative of the developer became known from a message on LinkedIn. It talked about a “centralized test space”, where employees from different departments of the company will be able to test games together, share their ideas.

Rebs Gaming also pointed out another hint of a game in development. According to Susan Bunch, manager of support, security and testing, the teams have already held a “testing session for artists and designers to test the maps”.

Based on such a message, the insider believes that the announcement of the game will be very soon, since the maps of the upcoming game are already in production.

Also, there was a massive Halo leak last year that revealed some unreleased content and other details. It is also known that the e-sports organization OpTic Gaming has already assembled its Halo “super team” for 2025.
