Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called the International Criminal Court's arrest warrant for him “anti-Semitic hatred” and accused the ICC of bias. This was stated in the Israeli Prime Minister's office.

— The International Criminal Court's anti-Semitic ruling is a modern-day Dreyfus trial, and will end the same way. Israel completely rejects the false and absurd accusations of the International Criminal Court, a biased and discriminatory political body. There is no more just war than the one Israel has been waging in Gaza since October 7, 2023, when the Hamas terrorist organization launched a murderous attack and committed the largest mass murder of the Jewish people since the Holocaust, — the statement said.

The Israeli prime minister's statement called the decision to issue an arrest warrant for Netanyahu one that was made by a “corrupt chief prosecutor who is trying to escape sexual harassment charges, and biased judges who are motivated by anti-Semitic hatred of Israel.”

— The ICC prosecutor lied when he told U.S. senators he would not take action until he visited Israel and heard its side of the story. Instead, he canceled his visit to Israel last May, days after allegations of sexual assault were brought against him, and announced his intention to issue arrest warrants for the prime minister and former defense minister, Netanyahu said in a statement.

It is noted that “no anti-Israel decisions” will prevent Israel from protecting its citizens.

The Prime Minister's Office also added that Netanyahu “will not succumb to pressure” and “will continue to achieve all the goals that Israel has set for itself in the just war against Hamas and the Iranian axis of terror.”

BAGNET recalls that the ICC issued an arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Galant.

The court found “reasonable grounds to believe” that Netanyahu and Galant bear criminal responsibility “as civilian superiors” for the war crime of intentionally directing an attack against a civilian population.

In the past, the chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Karim Khan, requested arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant, and three leaders of the Palestinian Hamas movement.
