This year, Apple launched the largest iPad Air with a 13-inch display, and although it cool, the refresh rate has remained at 60 Hz, as in previous models. That's, of course, a bit behind the 120Hz already on the iPad Pro 2024. But it looks like Apple might fix that in the next iPad Air.

There are rumors that the iPad Air 2025 may feature a 90Hz display, and such screens may be in the new 24-inch iMac and Studio Display models. It won't be OLED, but the fluid motion panel will make the screen smoother and more responsive. And although this is still only speculation, given that Apple is actively working on its products, such a move seems quite real. We remember that next year the iPhone 17 can get 120 Hz on regular models, and the iPhone Pro already has this cool indicator.
Almost simultaneously with the announcement of the new iPad Air in May, Apple also showed the iPad Pro. If they do release a new iPad Air next year, it will likely happen around the same time. And there is also information that in the middle of next year we may see a new iPad Air, an updated iPad and the iPhone SE 4. And, apparently, the iPad Air will get a new M3 chip, instead of the M2 that is in the current model.
