Ukrainian technology startup has developed a unique portable EW system against enemy FPV drones

Ukrainian company Kvertus developed an adaptation of the AD KRAKEN-U+ radio electronic warfare system. The first such project was carried out at the request of journalists from the Netherlands, who were preparing a report on combat operations in the Kherson region, the Military informs.

AD KRAKEN-U+ is a multi-range EW agent that effectively counters FPV drones in the 420−460 and 700−1050 MHz frequency bands, as well as drones that drop ammunition (in particular, Mavic and Autel). The system is equipped with a block of directional antennas and a remote control with a 20-meter cable. The effective range of action is up to 2 km, the mass in the unfolded state — 40 kg, and the time of continuous operation reaches 12 hours.

This innovation demonstrates the ability of the Ukrainian defense industry to adapt advanced technologies for practical use in combat conditions. Earlier, Kvertus also presented the aerial version of the Azimuth radio-electronic intelligence complex installed on a balloon.
