In Zhytomyr, a young citizen was convicted of theft, robbery and fraud

According to the public accusation of the juvenile prosecutor of the Zhytomyr District Prosecutor's Office, a local resident was found guilty of repeated theft, robbery and fraud.

He was sentenced to 9 years in prison.

The prosecutor proved in court that the repeatedly convicted 25-year-old Zhytomyr man committed seven crimes during July-September last year.

He mainly "specialized" ; on the theft of phones from minors and minors.  

Parubok approached teenagers and, under the pretense of necessity (calling a taxi, talking to an acquaintance), asked to use the phone, sometimes promising to pay for it. As soon as the gadget was in his hands, he hurriedly left the crime scene. His criminal collection included not only low-cost, but also expensive models.

He gave stolen and looted things to a pawnshop, and used the money he received for his own needs. In general, the convict caused material losses to the victims amounting to almost UAH 50,000.
