In this case, the North Korean side will actively participate in the war against Ukraine.

As the authors of the Western publication note, if such military assistance to the Russian Federation from the DPRK takes place, it will probably be in batches with a rotation of troops over a certain period of time, and not a one-time deployment.

Ukrainian Ambassador to South Korea Dmitry Ponomarenko, assessing the situation with the North Korean army, indicated that 15 thousand military personnel deployed for combat operations in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation and, possibly, in the occupied areas in the East of Ukraine, will change every few months.
