1. Washing. After each use, wash the board thoroughly by hand with a mild detergent and warm water. Avoid submerging the board in water to prevent swelling and cracking.

2. Drying. Immediately after washing, wipe the board with a clean towel and let it air dry. It is best to place the board vertically for air circulation.

3. Disinfection

  • Lemon and salt. To disinfect and remove odors, sprinkle the board with coarse salt, then rub the surface with half a lemon. Leave for a few minutes, then rinse with warm water and dry.
  • Vinegar. Periodically wipe the board with a solution of white vinegar to kill bacteria.

4. Masking scratches and stains

Soda. To remove stains and scratches, sprinkle the board with baking soda and rub with a damp sponge or cloth. Wash and dry the board.

Use these tips from Oleksandr Horodnyk. They will help not only to maintain cleanliness, but also to take care of your own health.
