K9 Thunder – a South Korean 155mm howitzer developed by Samsung Techwin (now Hanwha Aerospace) for the Republic of Korea Armed Forces. The firing range is 40 km, and with special ammunition – over 50 km.

Recall that in August 2022, Poland and South Korea signed an executive contract for the purchase of the first 180 tanks worth almost 3.4 billion dollars. Tank deliveries from Korea are already underway, but the participation of Polish industry in this part of the contract is minimal. Only Polish communication systems are installed on the already delivered K2 tanks.

In August of this year, the media reported that Poland's plans to produce modern K2 tanks in cooperation with South Korea faced serious obstacles.
