The American company announced the support of thermonuclear fusion at a plasma temperature of 200 million °C during the day.
Quantum Kinetics Corporation (QKC) used a patented modular reactor to start and maintain fusion. The company's representatives claim that they have managed to start plasma fusion at a temperature of 200 million °C within 24 hours.
The company's press release reports that researchers have made a breakthrough during peer-reviewed experiments with the processing of radioactive wastewater. The new achievement significantly surpasses the previous record. In April, Korea's Superconducting Tokamak Advanced Research (KSTAR) reactor reached 105 million °C within 48 seconds.

During the first minute of the experiment, the temperature of plasma synthesis during the treatment of radioactive wastewater was more than 208 million °C. The temperature reached more than 220 million °C during the second minute of the experiment.

The company also said that during operation of the reactor, it simultaneously split uranium 234/235/238, which was previously believed impossible QKC officials believe the technology could transform the industry by treating nuclear wastewater stored at aging nuclear power plants that are already in operation.
