In Germany, they are thinking about dismantling wind turbines: how do they explain it

Wind energy is quite popular in the world. However, not everyone sees it as promising. For example, in Germany they are talking about their demolition.

In Germany they are saying that wind energy should be only a transitional stage for the country in the transition to renewable energy. Channel 24 writes about this with reference to ProSieben.

Why windmills can blow down

The candidate for the post of Chancellor of Germany from the Christian Democratic Union (CDU ) Friedrich Merz considers wind turbines “disgusting”, therefore advocates their dismantling. In his opinion, wind energy should be considered only as a “transitional technology” to solve the problem of energy supply in Germany.

Therefore, Mertz hopes that in the future it will be possible to shut down all wind turbines.

I even believe that if we do something right, one day we will be able to dismantle wind turbines, because they are ugly and do not fit into the landscape, – says Merz.

Instead, the politician says that it is worth betting on nuclear fusion as Germany's future energy source in order to keep up with China in this field. He is also considering the possibility of resuming the operation of nuclear power plants and expressed concern about their dismantling.
