The United States imposed a ban on the supply of Taiwanese AI microchips to China

The United States officially banned the Taiwanese company TSMC from exporting to China microchips for artificial intelligence. The ban applies to chips manufactured using a more sophisticated technical process and related to AI devices.

The USA has officially obliged the Taiwanese company TSMC not to supply artificial intelligence microchips to China.

The US banned a Taiwanese manufacturer from exporting microchips for artificial intelligence applications to China artificial intelligence (AI).

According to Reuters, the White House order to Taiwanese company TSMC, one of the largest contract semiconductor manufacturers, takes effect this Monday.

The measure introduced by the US Commerce Secretary concerns chips produced according to a more advanced technical process, as well as others related to the production of graphics processors and artificial intelligence devices.
