An interesting defense system from Israel will appear in Europe

In Europe with

In 2025, the Israeli multi-level air defense system Arrow 3 will be placed on the territory of Germany.  This should strengthen ties’ between countries and support Israel's defense industry.

This system was created to combat long-range ballistic missiles. This was announced on the official page of the Israeli Ministry of Defense.

“The Israeli and German Ministry of Defense have begun joint preparation and coordination for the initial deployment of the Israeli Arrow 3 system on German soil in 2025,” — the message says.

Germany is receiving this system as part of the European initiative “Sky Shield” to protect against Russian missiles. The agreement was approved by the Bundestag in June 2023, and the system is expected to be operational in early 2025.

The agreement received US approval in August 2023. Israel's Ministry of Defense said the deal, worth $3.5 billion, is the largest defense purchase in the country's history. The Arrow 3 missile defense system is the world's leading technology designed to intercept ballistic missiles outside the atmosphere.

For references: Arrow 3 or “Strila-3” — is an extra-atmospheric hypersonic anti-missile jointly developed and produced by Israel and the United States of America. The project was created by Israel Aerospace Industries and Boeing.

“Strela-3” provides extra-atmospheric interception of ballistic missiles (in the space section of their trajectory), including intercontinental ballistic missiles carrying nuclear, chemical, biological or conventional warheads.

Thanks to the engine deflection capability, his war vehicle can change direction dramatically, allowing it to turn to see approaching satellites. The declared range of the missile is 2,400 km.

According to the head of the Israel Space Agency, “Strela-3” can serve as an anti-satellite weapon, which will make Israel one of the few countries in the world capable of destroying orbital satellites.
