What is known about the development?

This system is already used by the military and helps detect enemy drones that are actively used for attacks. According to the head of the Center Valery Churkin, the device was codified and allowed to be used in the Armed Forces, which was an important step in strengthening defense capabilities.

Patenting "Windmill M" became possible thanks to the new department for intellectual property issues created in 2024 in the Ministry of Defense. Previously, the protection of such developments in the military sphere in Ukraine was not sufficiently developed.
