Polar scientists emphasized that the calm is a rare phenomenon near “Vernadsky”, because strong winds constantly blow in this area of ​​the Antarctic, sometimes with precipitation.

But when there is a calm, you can take extremely beautiful photos in the ocean. The world around seems to stop, and the huge icebergs, clouds and mountains of the continent are fantastically reflected in the mirror of the water, the message says.

The impressive photos were taken by a biologist of the 29th UAE Tetiana Baglai during a work trip by boat.
