Samsung will release smartphones based on the new Exynos chip: what will it change

The new Exynos chips are characterized by increased speed and reduced power consumption.

The Korean company said in its said that its System LSI division will focus on supplying SoCs for flagship products for Samsung's “big customers” and is preparing to launch products based on 2nm chip technology. The company itself writes about this on its official website.

This fact indicates that the next Exynos flagship processor is still under development and may be used in Samsung smartphones.

However, despite this statement, leaks continue to indicate that the Galaxy S25 series may be exclusively powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip due to the low output of the year's Exynos 2500 chips. Some sources also suggest that the Exynos 2500 could be used in future Galaxy flagship smartphones instead of the series S25.

So, we can say that, despite the information from the leaks, Samsung is not abandoning the Exynos 2500, but it remains unclear whether this processor will appear in the Galaxy S25. The situation is expected to become clearer closer to January, when the official launch of the new S25 smartphones will take place.
