Ukrposhta is being updated – the company will launch courier delivery and post machines

In December of this year, the Ukrposhta company will launch a pilot delivery project in Kyiv with the help of couriers and post machines.

Ukrposhta General Director Ihor Smilyanskyi reported this, Interfax reports. -Ukraine.

Ihor Smilyanskyi announced that starting next year the service is planned to be launched throughout Ukraine.

Indeed, there will be couriers, there will be postmen. We will turn the postman into a courier, because the word postman comes from the word to carry letters. Well, apart from the summons, there is nothing to carry, – Smilyanskyi said.

According to him, Ukrposhta couriers will be carrying yellow backpacks. They will also be involved in refueling post machines.

This is an integral project from the point of view of the IT system and logistics. Couriers fill up post machines. And people will have a choice: to receive the shipment at the branch, at a post office or with courier delivery, Smilyanskyi explained.
