The 5 best video cards for budget gaming PCs in 2024 are named

The popular gaming portal IGN has published a fresh article dedicated to video cards. This time, attention was paid to budget accelerators, which can be bought in the fall of 2024. The selection includes GPUs from all three manufacturers: Nvidia, AMD and Intel.

According to a recent Steam survey, more than 55% of gamers now make do with Full HD resolution. With these cards, you can comfortably play at 1080p for many years, and some are able to provide a decent frame rate even at 1440p.

  • In the first place ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4060 Ti OC Edition with 8 GB memory We are not talking specifically about the model from ASUS, although it is considered the most optimal choice due to the design of 3 fans and a massive radiator.
  • Acer Predator BiFrost Intel Arc A770 in second place, as a more affordable alternative to Intel for budget gaming. The top authors attributed 16 GB of memory, excellent ray tracing performance and a reasonable price of $329 to the advantages of the model. However, there is a trade-off: Intel video cards have extremely unstable drivers.
  • Next comes the Gigabyte AMD Radeon RX 7600 OC as the best budget AMD graphics processor. The video card offers excellent performance in 1080p and 1440p, although you should not count on ray tracing.
  • MSI GeForce RTX 3050 Gaming X  is recognized as the best in the budget up to $200. Because it uses third-generation Tensor cores, the card still has access to DLSS 2.0, which adds a bit of value and makes up for some of the lost performance in games that support it.
  • Closing out the top 5 Acer Predator BiFrost Intel Arc A750, for users who don't mind trying something new and at the same time want to save money. This accelerator  is able to compete with RTX 4060 in terms of performance, but costs less, say journalists.
