Dniprjanin stole more than a million hryvnias worth of cable from the enterprise

A 28-year-old resident of Dnipro stole about 1,700 meters of cable from the plant's territory.

As reported by the police of the Dnipropetrovsk region, in mid-July for four days, a man climbed over the fence of the enterprise and stole cable products from the warehouse. He cut the cable with secateurs, then removed the insulation, and handed over the metal wire to the metal receiving points.

Law enforcement officers of the Dnipro Regional Police Department established the identity of the thief – he turned out to be a 28-year-old local resident.

By his actions, he caused material damage to the enterprise in the amount of almost 1.2 million hryvnias.

On October 31, investigators informed the man that he was suspected of committing a criminal offense. provided for in Part 4 of Art. 185 (theft committed under martial law) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty for the crime – up to 8 years of imprisonment.
