The Ukrainian military received the first batch of modern Lithuanian Shpak FPV drones (Shpak) from the manufacturer RSI Europe. Quadcopters, designed specifically for the Armed Forces, are capable of carrying up to 5 kg of explosives and are equipped with a remote detonation system, which allows them to be used to attack various targets. Thanks to the technology of radio frequency reconstruction, Shpak drones are resistant to radio electronic warfare.

The UAV has a flight range of up to 20 km, a speed of up to 150 km/h and a weight of only 2 kg. In addition, Shpak can perform complex maneuvers, and for night operations, a version with a thermal imager is available. Control is carried out from a ground station, which gives operators the opportunity to operate at a significant distance from the target.

The CEO of RSI Europe, T. Milashauskas, said that the name of the drone symbolic, since the word "starling" is close to Ukrainians, Lithuanians and Poles, unlike the Russian language. This aspect, according to him, underlines Lithuania's support for Ukraine's struggle.

Lithuania has also announced the supply of thousands of additional GA-10-FPV-AI drones to the Armed Forces to strengthen the ability of the Ukrainian military to conduct modern combat. with the involvement of drones.
