During attacks on military facilities in Iran on October 26, Israel destroyed three Russian S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems that were in service with Iran. The Wall Street Journal reports this, citing sources.

These systems played an important role in Iran's air defense system and could intercept up to several hundred missiles fired during the attack, which involved nearly 100 Israeli aircraft.

Of the four systems supplied by Russia to Iran, three were destroyed in this operation, and the fourth was destroyed earlier, – writes the WSJ.
