On October 25, 2024, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi announced the launch of a new social program “ePydtrymka”, which will start on December 1.

About this was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyi during an evening video address.

In his evening speech, he announced that each citizen will receive one thousand hryvnias, which, in turn, will increase the amount per family to several thousand hryvnias.

The funds can be spent on paying for Ukrainian goods and services, in particular, utilities, electricity. The money can also be spent on Ukrzaliznytsia tickets, medicine, books and cultural services, or donated to the Armed Forces, the president noted.

All details of the program will be determined by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and presented to the public.

We should note that the “eSupport” program previously existed, which started on December 19, 2022. Within its framework, citizens vaccinated against COVID-19 had the opportunity to receive financial support from the state in the amount of 1,000 hryvnias.
