Apple has officially confirmed that it will release new devices on Monday

Apple announced last night that it will release at least one long-awaited update this coming Monday. However, rumors claim that the company will introduce three new products at once. What will it be?

The news was shared by Greg Joswiak, Apple's vice president of international marketing. On his page in X, he published a teaser with two logos: the proprietary Finder program and the company itself.

What we expect from the presentation

Joswiak used only one most necessary word, which made everything clear to us. He wrote: “Mac your calendars” (Mac your calendars). It is impossible to translate it literally. He arranged a kind of word game, where he made the product name into a verb, which seems to mean “mark” or something similar. In this way, he calls to remember a specific day – Monday.

Mac – is a family of different products that includes MacBook laptops, iMac monoblocks, Mac Pro desktops, and Mac mini compact computers. They traditionally have a separate release date, rather than being released on the same day as iPhones or tablets. It looks like their time has come.

Next week, Apple is expected to introduce a wide range of computers based on the M4 chip, including:

  • Two models MacBook Pro for 14 and 16 inches.
  • Updated Mac mini.
  • New 24-inch monoblock iMac .

We haven't heard any rumors aboutMac Pro so it seems that the company will not update its most powerful machines this time.

All new products will be equipped with different variants of the M4 chip, which will represented by the entire spectrum of power from the M4 to the M4 Max.

One point remains unclear: Joswiak did not specify an exact time, so this may mean that there will not be a traditional presentation in the form of a video. Instead, the company will likely issue text-based press releases and launch related product pages on its website. This is the way, for example, the company chose for the iPad mini 7.

The company representative also used the wording “we have an exciting week of announcements ahead of us”, so we may not even get everything at once – the company may well prolong the pleasure by releasing announcements gradually.

What exactly will be updated

  • The MacBook Pro will not have any design changes, and will focus mostly only on changes to the chip and its power. Laptops will receive two configurations – M4 Pro and M4 Max, which will increase computing and graphics performance.
  • The Mac mini will receive a significant design update, and the device itself will be more compact than the current models. According to rumors, the height and width will decrease. It will receive configurations from the M4 and M4 Pro.
  • The 24-inch iMac with the M4 chip will have the same design as the current models. They are expected to have a single-chip configuration, but it is not yet clear which one. It's likely to be the M4 Max.

Software

  • The company is also expected to release new software updates on Monday, including iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, macOS Sequoia 15.1, tvOS 18.1 and visionOS 2.1 for everyone. The updates will bring the first few Apple Intelligence features to the company's entire product line.
  • Presumably, the Finder logo was shown to us for a reason – the company may be preparing a significant update.
