For  according to British Defense Minister John Healy, the agreement marks an important moment in relations with Germany and a “significant strengthening of European security”. The mass media writes that in his address, he also indicated that this agreement will strengthen the defense-industrial complex of NATO countries.

In addition, it is about the start of joint work on equipping German Sea King helicopters with modern missile systems and about allowing P-8 Poseidon maritime surveillance aircraft of the German Navy to use the air base of the Royal Air Force in Scotland for sorties and further patrolling of the North Atlantic area.
