Russian consulate to be closed in Poland

Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski announced the closure of the Russian Consulate General in Poznan.

In his tweet, explaining the need to close the Russian Consulate General in Poznan, Sikorski emphasized that Russia is waging a hybrid war and attempting to commit sabotage on Polish territory.

"As Foreign Minister, it is my duty to respond decisively. The first step is to close the Russian consulate in Poznan. We will not retreat one step. We are defending the Republic of Poland, we are defending the Poles," added the head of the Polish Foreign Ministry.

There are three Russian consulates general in Poland, in addition to Poznan, they are Krakow and Gdansk.
