Microsoft will provide free cloud services to Ukrainian government agencies for another year

The Microsoft company will provide free cloud services to Ukrainian state institutions and educational institutions for another year.

The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine reported this in Telegram.

«Educational institutions, state agencies and central and regional authorities will use Microsoft cloud products free of charge until the end of 2025. This decision will help strengthen the digital stability of the state and protect state institutions in cyberspace,” the report says.

The Ministry of Statistics noted that since the beginning of the full-scale war, the corporation has steadily supported Ukraine. So, in 2023, the company provided technological assistance in the amount of more than 500 million dollars, in 2024 – another 100 million dollars. Support for a similar amount is expected this year.

In addition, Microsoft helped move digital infrastructure to secure data centers across Europe. And also participates in the support of cyber security projects, the investigation of war crimes against the population in Ukraine and the financing of humanitarian organizations.

As reported, the American corporation Microsoft plans to spend 80 billion dollars. USA in fiscal year 2025 to build data centers with artificial intelligence support.
