According to the “Super Express” portal, the outstanding singer Urszula Trawińska-Moroz has died at the age of 87. The information about her death was provided by the Teatr Wielki — National Opera. Her voice delighted listeners for years.

Urszula Trawińska-Moroz, born on October 4, 1937 in Gniezno. She began learning to sing as a teenager, delighting with her coloratura soprano. She gained her skills at the Academy of Music in Poznań and at the University of Music in Warsaw.
In 1965, she joined the cast of the Grand Theatre in Warsaw, with which she was associated until 1987. She has many excellent roles in operas to her credit. Among the most memorable are Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor, Verdi's La Traviata, and The Haunted Manor.
“She sang perfectly pure, light, with that freedom of emission and coloratura technique that not only gives satisfaction with its correctness, but also defines the character of the part” – this is what musicologist and renowned critic Janusz Ekiert wrote about her in his review from 1972.
Not only singing
Urszula Trawińska-Moroz honed her skills not only in Poland, but also abroad. She was educated in Munich and Venice, among other places. She performed not only on Polish stages, but also internationally.
Her extraordinary soprano was heard by opera fans from France, Great Britain, Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Bulgaria. Although her great passion was singing, she also found fulfillment in the role of a director.
Her professional achievements also included the position of artistic director at the Szczecin Opera and Operetta. Between 1988 and 1991, she was the artistic director of the Warsaw Operetta. In 1991, she founded the Traveling Musical Theatre.
She passed on her knowledge by teaching singing at the Academy of Music in Warsaw. Her artistic achievements include albums and an autobiography.
