Insane man sets fire to doors of Lithuanian Defense Ministry

On Sunday, October 20, a man set fire to the door of the Defense Ministry building in Vilnius and several other objects. He has already been detained, LRT reported.

Rescuers received a report of smoke on the first floor of the building. When firefighters arrived, it turned out that the wooden entrance doors of the building, which were not in use, were burning on the courtyard side. The door was burnt and deformed, and the plastic ceiling paneling was melted.

The detainee is a Lithuanian born in 1984. It is noted that he behaved inappropriately during the arrest.

It later became known that this man also started a fire on the first floor of the General Prosecutor's Office building, set fire to the doors of the common stairwell of a three-story building on Odmina Street in Vilnius and a garbage container at the door of the Child Legal Protection and Adoption Service building on Labdarius Street.
