More and more iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max owners are reporting issues with slow click response and random crashes. These issues have been around since the phone was released, and the recent iOS 18.0.1 update has yet to bring a solution.

Users are taking to platforms like Reddit and Apple's forums to sharing the frustrations, noting that crashes can occur both when the device is in use and in standby mode.

Interestingly, the problem seems to mainly affect the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models, while standard models are violated to a lesser extent, the mass media write. Some users are reporting a few crashes, while others are experiencing 20 reboots a day.

While resetting the device and opting out of iCloud backups have helped some users, the problem remains widespread. Apple has not yet issued an official statement on this matter.
