The thinnest smartphone of 2024 has appeared on the market: it costs a little more than $200

The thickness of the Hot 50 Pro+ case is only 6.8 mm. For comparison, the thickness of the top iPhone 16 is 8.25 mm.

Chinese Infinix, which many may not even have heard of, introduced the Hot 50 Pro+. The manufacturer says that this is the world's thinnest smartphone with a curved design, and also one of the thinnest models in principle in the history of the industry.

The thickness of the Hot 50 Pro+ body is only 6.8 millimeters. For comparison, the thickness of the iPhone 16 Pro is 8.25 mm, and the absolute record holder is 4.75 mm. This is the 2014 Vivo X5 Max model.

According to the characteristics of the Infinix Hot 50 Pro+ –  a typical mid-budget phone. Inside is the Helio G100 chipset, complemented by 8 GB of RAM. 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 120 Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass protection. The 5000mAh battery supports 33W wired charging.

Other features include a triple camera with a 50MP main module, IP54 protection, game mode, blue light protection, and microSD support. The smartphone runs on the basis of Android 14 with the XOS 14.5 shell. They promise 5 years of support.

The device is already sold in China. In the minimum configuration of 8+128 GB, it was valued at $205.
