In Romania, on the night of Saturday, October 19, four fighter jets were raised in the air due to a violation of the border by a Russian drone.

This is reported by the Russian service VBS.

According to the Romanian Ministry of Defense, two Romanian and two Spanish fighter jets were taken into the air on the Black Sea coast of Romania after radars detected what appeared to be a Russian drone that flew into Romanian airspace.

Romanian radar stations detected a small aerial target over the sea 45 km from the village of Sfinta Georgije in the Danube Delta around 02 :30 local time.

The fighter pilots did not visually observe the drone, the message states.
