We prepare warming pea soup at home according to Olga Ryabenko's recipe

Ukrainian chef Olga Ryabenko posted on Instagram the details of cooking a delicious pea soup. Watch the video and cook at home!

Autumn is a time when you want simple and tasty dishes that warm you from the inside. This soup is exactly what you need when it gets colder outside.

Ideal for a cozy evening at home, – describes the dish Olga Ryabenko.

Ingredients:

  • Smoked ribs – 400 g;
  • Picked peas – 500 g;
  • Water – 2.5 l;
  • Carrots – 2 pcs;
  • Onion – 2 pcs;
  • Large potatoes – 3 pcs;
  • Turmeric – 1 tsp;
  • Salt, pepper;
  • Dill;
  • Crispers.

Method of preparation:

1. Put the ribs, whole carrots, onions and chopped potatoes in a saucepan.

2. Wash the peas, drain the water and pour into a saucepan.

3. Pour everything with water and cook until the peas are fully cooked.

4. Remove carrots and onions from the pan. We won't need them anymore. Remove the ribs from the bones, and cut the meat.

5. In a separate pan, fry the grated carrot and onion. Add turmeric and fry until onions are transparent.

6. Put the vegetables and chopped meat in the soup and cook for another 10-15 minutes. Adjust the thickness of the soup with water.

7. Add chopped dill.

8. Serve with toasted bread or crackers.
