Chinese insider Phone Chip Expert has revealed some of the specifications of the 2026 iPhone 18. The insider reported that the iPhone 18 will be based on the 2nm A20 chip from chipmaker TSMC. He also claims that this model will receive 12 GB of RAM.

The A20 chip will be manufactured using WMCM technology, which differs from the current InFo technology by providing higher flexibility and optimized communication between the central (CPU) and graphics (GPU) processors, as well as other components of the chipset.
According to another insider and analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, only flagship Pro versions will be equipped with 2nm chips through high cost.
Serial production of 2nm chips is expected to begin in 2025. Apple will be the first smartphone vendor to receive the new chips.
