Alex Proyas tackles Elon Musk

Recently, Elon Musk, the big boss of X and Tesla, has just presented new products. Indeed, on October 10, Elon Musk revealed to the world the new features of his brand: three new projects that should improve our future. Elon Musk wants to market an autonomous taxi called Robotaxi, an autonomous bus called Robovan and humanoid robots called Optimus. But the design of these new creations is very reminiscent of the aesthetics of I, Robot. And Alex Proyas, the director, did not hold back from highlighting it on social networks.

Named We, Robot, Elon Musk's event takes its name from the collection of short stories The RobotsIsaac Asimov. A great American author of science fiction and anticipation, who already inspired Alex Proyas with I, Robot. A common reference that can therefore explain the similarities between Tesla productsand the Alex Proyas film. But of course, these similarities have made Internet users react. Some point out a glaring lack of originality in the design of Elon Musk's new pieces. But the funniest reaction is undoubtedly that of Alex Proyas himself. The 61-year-old director gently mocked Elon Musk by posting a series of images contrasting the design of Tesla's new creations with the special effects of I, Robot. All accompanied by a little mischievous comment: “Hey Elon, Can I have my designs back please?”
