MSWiA announces random checks
After a dramatic accident that occurred a few months ago in one of the tenement houses in Poznań, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration announced random inspections.
“From the point of view of state bodies responsible for compliance with regulations in this area, we will remind about this and conduct random inspections in cooperation with local governments, with city guards” – said Czesław Mroczek, Deputy Minister of Interior and Administration, in an interview with PAP.
The deputy head of the ministry emphasizes that it is not allowed to store flammable materials in basements, especially when their ignition temperature is lower than 20 degrees Celsius, because they can explode and catch fire even as a result of a simple increase in temperature.
