Renault will present a retro-futuristic electric car

Twingo E-Tech/Renault

Renault is preparing to impress the public at the 2024 Paris Motor Show with its new Twingo E-Tech electric concept. This retro-futuristic car combines the charm of the original 1992 Twingo with modern technology and sustainability.

This is what designboom says.

The new Twingo E – Techattracts attention with its unusual design. Round headlights with floating LED rings create a “smiley” effect, and when one of the headlights is turned off, the car seems to “wink” at the driver. This playful detail gives the electric car a special charm.

Renault added other elements that refer to the original Twingo model. Rounded door handles with illumination not only look stylish, but also help you find them easily in the dark. A large glass roof provides a panoramic viewand fills the cabin with natural light. The rear of the car also retains the signature style with a black rim around the rear glass and round headlights.

Despite its conceptual status, the Twingo E-Tech is planned for series production in 2026. It is expected to be priced under €20,000, making it one of the most affordable electric cars on the market. The Renault Twingo E-Tech is not just an electric car, but a real symbol of a new era for the Twingo model. It combines retro charm, modern technology and environmental friendliness, making it an attractive choice for city dwellers who appreciate style and innovation.
