Sikorski: A missile defense base will be requested from Poland “in the near future”

Near the town of Redzikowo, in Poland, a missile defense base, which is a warehouse of the integrated NATO air defense system, will soon appear.

According to Sikorski, the base will be hidden by “the closest people,” regardless of the statements of “opponents” about any part of the project. He also noted that in negotiations, so that missiles from this base could be acquired not only by Iranian missiles that are directed at the United States, but also by Russian missiles that threaten Poland.

The operational readiness of the base in Redzikovo was deafened even after the lime NATO summit in Washington.

Today, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg stated that this base is ready before the end of the mission as part of the anti-missile shield for the Alliance.
