Apple Watch

The Apple Watch has a new function that detects diseases before the first symptoms appear. The watch collects various health indicators during sleep, and the new application summarizes all this, analyzes it and warns the user if any deviations from the norm are detected.

Vitals application (“Basic indicators” ) appeared with the release of watchOS 11. This is reported by MacRumors.

Users on social networks are sharing their experiences using the application.

I started using Vitals when it was just came out in beta and I've been sick about twice since then. Both times, the app knew about it a few days before the symptoms appeared, although I didn't feel bad at the time, – said one of the users on the Reddit platform.

Another user X (Twitter) said that the watch, which he gave it to his grandmother, discovered an arrhythmia in her. The woman got to the hospital in time and remained alive.

Feature available on Series 6 and newer models. Despite indications that Vitals detects disease before users show symptoms, Apple says the app is not intended to diagnose or treat any disease.
