In Israel, a man attacked passersby with a knife: the victims are in critical condition

On Wednesday, October 9, in the center of Hadera, Israel, local residents were attacked in several parts of the city by an unknown man armed with a knife.

It is preliminarily known that the attacker acted alone, and he used a moped to quickly move around the city. The Time of Israel reports this.

As a result of the attacks, six passersby were injured, two of them were hospitalized in critical condition.

The criminal was “surrounded” by witnesses of his actions, some of whom had firearms with them, which helped to “cool down” the hooligan a little.

The police later arrived at the scene, neutralized the attacker and detained him.

—The suspect was later identified by Hebrew-language media as an Arab Israeli resident of Umm al-Fahm. The man was known to the police for his past criminal activity, – Israeli media report.
