Advantages of UAV strikes assessed by the commander of the special unit of strike drones

Attacks by drones are much more effective than artillery strikes, although the advantages of artillery strikes cannot be underestimated, because it is actually covering the enemy's territory with shells. He noted that the drones — more pointed and mobile.

“If you missed the first time, then you can adjust a second time, or you go to the target, see that you do not hit, and you can go to the height again, adjust and hit. Therefore, drones have made a very serious adjustment to the entire methodology of warfare. And this is the first war that is going on with such a massive use of drones, and quite effectively”, — Borovyk explained.

According to him, drones perform different functions.

“They adjust artillery strikes, adjust the movement of special forces, sabotage and reconnaissance groups. Also, they themselves strike or adjust other drones that strike, adjust evacuation, supply, logistics. Many things are done. And that's why drones, compared to artillery, are smarter and more interesting in terms of application. But one cannot, I say once again, deny the necessity of using artillery, missile forces, etc.”, — said the commander of the special unit of strike drones.
