And in 2023, the American brand wanted to expand into the German market by offering McPlant Nuggets, vegetarian nuggets. The product seems to have been a great success since McDonald's decided to import it into France.

Available since Tuesday, October 8, Veggie McPlants (the name has changed) are available in boxes of 4, 6, 9 or 20, like their counterparts the Chicken McNuggets. Veggie McPlants are nevertheless aligned with Chicken Nuggets, whose prices range from €3.50 to €4.50. and 4.5 euros.

Veggie McPlants are still made with “wheat and pea proteins and coated with a crispy breading, a clever blend of wheat and corn flours, light salty with notes of pepper and celery“.
